Friday Nite

Friday nights mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Friday means PAYDAY for many, not me, I work for KCP LLC & I get paid when clients determine it's time to pay the printing bill (which is NOT as often as you would think). Friday night is YFT for the girls, (a weekly highlight for them) for which I am very grateful indeed. Friday Night is just another work shift for a whole list of folks I do work for (I do printing for about 60 physicians) those people have terrible hours, often 24 hr shifts on a regular basis and patients don't understand why they are not happy & chipper all the time? Oh sure they make a lot of money, but with the thousands of dollars worth of liability & malpractice insurance, the forever update training, employee payroll, office space & equipment to rent or buy, not to mention the electronic gadgetry they have to carry to maintain contact at all times, I don't see how they have a thin dime left to make those Jaguar payments?? They probably deliver Pizza on Saturday nights to have gas money, who knows? Friday night to my dog means "Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!" time to scratch a hole in moms couch or the new bedspread (he destroys the bedspread ANYTIME we leave the bedroom door open during the day) at's why we always seem to have a new one. Not sure what it is about that particular spread? He never harms the girls or even Danny's...of course finding Dan's bedspread in his room probably contributes to the overall longevity of the fore mentioned item (if ya can't find it, ya can't tear it up huh poopy-dog?). Man, how do I get off on these rants anyway? Back to the subject, what in tar-nation was the subject anyway, boy that burns me up when I loose my train of thought, of course I've never been sure what I needed a train for in the first place, they are very limited in where they can go....oh yeah, I remember now, I like Friday nights because it is the one nite of the week when Sandy & I get to go to dinner & talk of the weeks events and be friends, Friday nite is "date-nite" (man-o-man, I love that little lady, she's a doll!!). The young whipper-snapper's that read these polished, intelligentsia-imparting, mind-cluttering blogs, keep the "date-nite" event in mind as you "marry-off" and have families of your own. You MUST make time for each other or you will drift your own ways and in a few years will be nothing more than a couple of parents cohabiting, going through the motions of married life with no real fulfillment or attachment. Thanks for reading, end-of-sermon.

  1. Date Night??? Whats that again? Perhaps you all need to cover for youth on a Friday Night so my sweet thing and I can have a date. :) Our "Date Night" now consists of 40 young people (aka our kids) that provide us much entertainment.

On second thought, I think we just make keep out Date Night with the youth... We kinda like being around them. :)

    BTW.... thanks for the laugh!
